It is truly amazing how one simple and positive action can change the outlook of our day, week, month or life in general. I am talking about the act of gratitude.
Gratitude is defined as the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. And yes it has the power to change our lives! Even scientists tell us that adopting an “attitude of gratitude” is good for our health! Studies have shown that it makes us happier and gives us a more optimistic outlook on life and I agree.
The amazing thing however with adopting a lifestyle of gratitude is that we can start today and it is free. Some ways we can incorporate gratitude into our life includes:
